Here Comes the Sun

I've always liked that Beatles song....

After interviewing with newspapers in five different states, I have decided to accept an offer to work with the Las Vegas Sun and Greenspun Media Group's online staff. I am really excited about this opportunity, the Sun's Web site is stunning and I think I will be able to learn a lot and hopefully contribute a lot as well.

I will also be working with some of my friends from WashingtonPost.Newsweek Interactive, including Rob Curley.

Suzanne and I will be moving to Vegas in about three weeks. So if you ever find yourself in Las Vegas, drop us a line and we can get together. But don't forget the sunscreen.

Congrats! What does your new position entail?

I'm not sure you could have found a better job than this if you wanted to. You'll have to keep us updated.

Tell Rob I said hi.

I'm a little behind on this, but CONGRATULATIONS! How funny - my internship in DC was for the rival Vegas paper, the R-J. I'm sure you are going to have a great time there. I had the opportunity to work next to Lisa Mascaro (the Sun's 1-woman DC bureau) several times during my internship and it was a great pleasure. If the rest of the staff is anything like her then you are a lucky guy.

The Sun is doing great things with multimedia, and Vegas offers a wealth of opportunity for AMAZING storytelling. I can't wait to see what you get your hands into. Good luck!!!!
